Q&A – What is this plant that comes up every year? A: Morning Glory

Question:
What is this plant that comes up every year? A: Morning Glory

Answer:

This is morning glory. Jessie Munson from Lichterman Nature Center says it is not a native plant, but the pollinators will visit the flowers. Mary Schmidt from Lichterman Nature Center says if it is in a bed with other plants you may want to pull it out because it is competing for resources with other plants in the bed.
