Starting a Square Foot Garden

A square foot garden is a good way to get a lot of produce out of a small space. Gardener Peter Richards shows how to mark off a square foot bed into one-foot squares. He talks about how he made a plan to maximize the use of the bed throughout the growing season. His plan takes advantage of the space around the garden for vining and tall plants. Then he plants onions and peas. Peter will blog about the progress of the garden and how much produce has been harvested.
